  1. One qualification outweighs all others

Sometimes Srila Prabhupada's first western disciples in India, being unfamiliar with Indian culture and the behavior expected of sadhus, would attract unfavorable comments. Srila Prabhupada would often respond, "My disciples are not as qualified as you, but their one qualification is that whatever I say, they firmly believe, and they carry out my instructions". From this it was understood that Srila Prabhupada considered that this one qualification outweighed all others, outweighing even considerable manifest disqualifications.
  2. Liberalism is uncivilized

Unnecessary association with women, even with one's mother, sister or daughter, is strictly prohibited. This is human civilization. A civilization that allows men to mix unrestrictedly with women is an animal civilization. In Kali-yuga, people are extremely liberal, but mixing with women and talking with them as equals actually constitutes an uncivilized way of life.
  3. Vedic civilization is how to avoid sex

First education is brahmacari, how to train him to avoid sex life. And still if he's not able, then he is allowed to become a grhastha, a little concession. Otherwise, the whole Vedic civilization is: how to avoid sex life. Brahmacari — no sex life. Vanaprastha — no sex life. Sannyasi — no sex life. Only grhastha, under control. That is grhastha. Grhastha does not mean one who is doing everything
  4. The best type of civilization

So far body is concerned, you get all things supplied by God. You have got enough grains. You have got enough fruit. You have got enough milk. You have got everything enough. You eat it, live peacefully. Because what is my want of this body? Ahara-nidra-bhaya-maithunam ca. Oh, you can eat. Ahara means eating. So you can eating suffi..., you can eat sufficiently. Nidra. You can make
  5. Money for Mayapur

Once a devotee asked, "Srila Prabhupada, we're sitting in these rice fields, and you've asked us to build a city. Where is all the money going to come from?" Srila Prabhupada laughed. "You are always worried about where the money will come from. Here we have Radha-Madhava. 'Madhava' means the husband of the goddess of fortune. You just worship Radha-Madhava nicely, and everything will come by Their mercy. You don't have to worry about money."
  6. Everything for Krsna

This Krsna consciousness movement is the greatest boon to humanity because it keeps one always engaged in Krsna's service. The devotees think of Krsna, act for Krsna, eat for Krsna, sleep for Krsna and work for Krsna. Thus everything is engaged in the service of Krsna. A total life in Krsna consciousness saves one from material contamination.
  7. Gauranga doesn’t want to be known as God, why do we worship as God?

Acyutananda: ...stuff His ears up when anyone would refer to Him as God. He wants to be known as a devotee. But we worship Him as God, in the same line as Radha-Krsna. So how do we understand that Lord Caitanya doesn't want to be praised as God, but we worship Him as such? Prabhupada: That is a warning to the future fools and rascals that even God does not like to be addressed as God, but we address Him...
